The Real Housewives of New Jersey is the most violent in the series and at the same time serves piping hot tea.
The show premiered on May 12, 2009, with a cast of women that were either family by blood or by proxy.
Teresa Guidice, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo and Danielle Staub were the original women in this series.
Teresa Guidice right off the bat made a long-lasting impression on the world after flipping an entire dinner table while she and others were eating.
The reason for this iconic outburst was because fellow casemate Danielle Staub mentioned Teresa’s ex-husband then preceded to tell her to “pay attention,” which ignited a flame inside Teresa.
The most annoying original cast member was Danielle Staub who was an arrogant porn star that always made herself the victim in every scene.
Now back to my claim that this show is the most violent in the series. Everyone always says it is Atlanta which is racist because there is barely a handful of physical events (Porsha dragging Kenya at the reunion, Porsha fighting Cynthia, Porsha beating someone in a dark alley, pillow talk).
The New Jersey women or do I say mainly Teresa, were literal crash outs. During the season 2 reunion, Teresa pushed host Andy Cohen as she was screaming in Danielle’s face.
In season 3, a massive family brawl erupted at Melissa and Joe’s son’s christening. Joe was clearly inebriated and was taking it out on Teresa and Melissa’s sister did not make it better.
One thing led to another and Teresa’s husband Joe and brother Joe got into a scuffle, which led to multiple people joining while children and elderly were present. This incident was the beginning of the long-lasting family drama between Teresa and Joe.
Another moment happened recently in season 14 when Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Aydin got in a physical fight at Teresa’s house party. Both women were arguing like usual, but this was getting personal and Jennifer pushed her out of the blue and before you know it Danielle C Slammed her glass on the side of Jennifer’s face.
Mind you, that was not the first time Jennifer got physical with another castmate. She also put her hands on Melissa Gorga in the company of the girls and husbands. She also threw a glass or two at Melissa during another incident and threw a utensil at her during a heated dinner.
What a classless individual that has the privilege to be a menace because of her wealth and skin tone. If that was a woman from Atlanta or Potomac, then all hell would break loose.
We also saw Teresa go to jail for a year for tax fraud with her husband Joe back in 2015. The show was put on hiatus until the return of their anchor.
She swears she knew nothing about her husband’s dealings yet was still blindly signing paperwork without question and always carried wads of cash out in the open.
To rewatch all the chaos of this funny and mind-boggling show, you must have a subscription to Peacock to access all 14 seasons.
