On Feb. 17, the university hosted its Lunar New Year Jùhuì at the Adanti Student Center Multicultural Center, bringing students together to celebrate the Year of the Horse through food, culture and community.
The gathering offered attendees a chance to make and enjoy Vietnamese coffee while sampling snacks and treats from Asian cultures that observe Lunar New Year.
Students moved through the space to learn about holiday traditions, share stories and connect with peers during the midday celebration.
The event highlighted themes of renewal, luck and togetherness, creating an inviting atmosphere for students familiar with the holiday as well as those experiencing it for the first time.
Tables featuring cultural information, seasonal decorations and refreshments encouraged conversation and exploration throughout the two‑hour program.
The celebration added a vibrant moment to the week, offering students a meaningful way to honor Lunar New Year on campus.
