On April 22, the university hosted its Earth Day Terrarium Takeover in the Adanti Student Center in Room 217, where students spent the afternoon creating miniature plant ecosystems.
The event ran from 2-4 p.m. and invited participants to build their own terrariums using soil, stones and a selection of small plants provided by the Programs Council.
Staff members guided students through each step and shared information about the plants and how to care for them after the event.
Tables were stocked with materials and decorations, allowing attendees to personalize their terrariums before taking them home.
The program drew steady participation as students stopped in between classes to assemble a low maintenance addition for their living spaces.
Free materials were available while supplies lasted, adding to the relaxed, hands‑on atmosphere of the Earth Day celebration.
