Student Life OA applications

The Office of Student Life is currently accepting applications for orientation staff member positions for the 2012-2013 academic year until Friday, Feb­ruary 3 at 4:00 p.m. The office credits selection to the team as a unique honor and rewarding opportunity for personal and professional growth.
To be qualified, appli­cants must maintain a grade point average of 2.7 or better and be a full-time undergradu­ate student for the duration of employment. In addition, stu­dents must be in good judicial standing with the university. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in working with students from a variety of backgrounds as well as have paramount inter­personal skills and a willingness to accept responsibility.
Staff will be selected on the basis of enthusiasm, dedicated involvement, service, leadership, personality, scholarship, knowl­edge of SCSU resources and previous campus involvement. Applicants should also possess a warm, friendly manner, sincerity, versatility and maturity of judg­ment, punctuality, and a will­ingness to follow a prescribed standard.

Applicants are asked to read the information packet to find important mandatory training and program dates.
