On Feb. 5, the university held the Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Lecture, featuring keynote speaker David W. Robinson-Morris. The event was open to students and the public.

First Women in STEM Excellence club mixer

On Feb. 4, the Women in STEM Excellence, WISE, club held it’s first meeting of semester. WISE members and visitors met to talk about future and upcoming events over pizza. A small raffle was also held. Whether you are a woman in STEM, or an ally, WISE is always welcoming new members. Coming up on March 26 is the SCSU Innovation Hub Connecting Students and Professionals of Color event.
