On Oct. 21, the Residence Hall Association hosted a walk for breast cancer awareness, inviting students and community members to support a cause close to their hearts.

The event took place at the Academic Quad, where participants gathered to share stories, enjoy refreshments and celebrate unity in raising awareness for breast cancer.

Representatives from Covering My Sisters, Student Health Services and other campus organizations spoke about prevention, early detection and the importance of community support.

The color pink swarmed the route as attendees walked to honor those affected by breast cancer and to show solidarity with loved ones impacted by the disease.

Students also released balloons into the air for loved ones. The event not only promoted education and awareness but also brought participants together in support of the ongoing fight against breast cancer.
