Former broadcaster, media personality and writer Wendy Williams.
The famous pink chair is empty as the queen of daytime TV is being held against her will. Her famous “How you doing” moniker that took over pop culture is nothing but the past.
Arguably the greatest media personality in the 21st century is locked in a conservatorship under false pretenses.
Wendy Williams is best known for her self-titled talk show and her segment on HOT.97 back in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
Now, Williams is being controlled by a stranger under a conservatorship unlawfully and all the money that she earned throughout her career is withheld from her.
Williams has publicly discussed her struggles with alcohol and drugs. She has overcome her addiction with drugs yet still drinks heavily.
That was noticeable in her 2024 documentary on Lifetime. The people around her knew it was inappropriate to have her on TV in that state, considering she was diagnosed with “dementia.”
I believe Williams was forced to do this documentary to add validation to the claims Wells Fargo and her financial advisor were making about her health. Willams was exploited to the max all for the continuation of control for her guardian.
Earlier this year TMZ released a documentary titled “TMZ presents: Saving Wendy,” in which Harvey Levin interviewed Williams from her room in a New York City assisted living facility.
“The only way I could interview her was to have a camera in the street because we can’t get a camera in,” Levin said. “She’s been out twice in the last 30 days.”
The reason for the guardianship is because Wells Fargo raised concerns about Williams account that was producing suspicious habits.
The last time Wendy was on TV was in July 2021 on “The Wendy Williams Show.” She nor did the audience expect to not see the show premiere in the fall.
In November of 2021, rumors circulated around the world that Williams was in the early stages of dementia, yet her brother dispelled those claims.
What is interesting about this is that Williams accused her financial advisor of misconduct in January of 2022. That same month, her financial advisor Lori Schiller made claims that Williams was not in the right state of mind.
Due to Schiller’s claims, Wells Fargo froze Williams’ bank accounts. According to court documents, Wells Fargo petitioned to place Williams under financial guardianship.
This whole situation is weird and quite frankly a scam to control Williams and take all of her money.
My conspiracy theories are kicking in and I think that Williams is being targeted due to the information she may know about some heavy hitters in the music industry.
Just think about the timeline and how all of this began in late 2021.
Williams released her biographical movie “Wendy Williams: The Movie” in January 2021. In the movie she revealed that she was raped by R&B singer Sherrick at an album release party.
I mean for crying out loud she was fired in 1998 from HOT 97 for speaking out against Diddy.
Williams spoke to Daily Mail after Diddy was arrested in September 2024.
“What is really weird is that I have been told by many people, Wendy, you called it,” Williams said. “You know how I feel about that? It is about time to see that video on TV.”
With all due respect, the only thing that Williams struggles with is Graves’ disease which has battled for years. When you watch the TMZ interview you can clearly see and hear how sane and clear minded she is.
At the “Breakfast Club” she denied these claims that originated from Wells Fargo and her financial advisor.
“I am not cognitively impaired,” Williams said.
I pray with her speaking out and outlets such as TMZ will help end her exploitative guardianship before this ends badly.
