New students settle into campus dorms

New Owls arrived on campus to move into their dorms. Athletes, residence life and other students already on campus flocked to help their fellow Owls settle in. Families were given warm welcomes by students and staff who had snacks, drinks and activites set up in the residence quad. Interim President Dwayne Smith made an appearance to welcome the new students. The day was a great way to kick of the new academic year.


Otus the Owl made an appearance to cheer on incoming Owls.

Computer science major Anthony Solberg, a freshman, moving in with assistance from pre-special education major Hakim Dembele, a sophomore, and environmental systems and sustainability major RJ Faessler, a freshman.  

Communications major Spencer Lane, a senior, alongside Coordinator for Veteran, Military and Adult Learner Services Brit Conroy and psychology major Jae’la Rivera, a senior.
