Southern now has a new Men’s basketball coach. Scott Burrell, who played for UCONN and the NBA, and later worked as an assistant coach at Quinnipiac, was hired on July 13, according to the Southern Connecticut Athletics website.
Burrell is well-known in the area and played on the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan, according to an article in the Hartford Courant.
