First and foremost, wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be walking around a lot that day. The more comfortable your shoes are, the happier you are, end of story. Plus, if you do decide to wear an outrageous heel, please be careful and watch where you are walking.
Second, everyone will look the same on graduation day. Stick out with your robe and make a statement. Even if it’s wearing a pair of trendy sunglasses or layering necklaces together. Do something different and look good doing it.
Next, graduation is for all people there will be families from mixed generations, so let’s keep the outfits classy. Remember little kids to elderly grandparents will be there, so don’t pick out your tightest little dress you can find. Your outfit should be conservative and have class.
Do you really want your professors and families to see the outfits you go out in every Thursday night? Of course not, that’s why you wear them out. Stand out with your outfit and be comfortable in it. It will be a long day!
