Yes, junk food is delicious… but being healthy is hot

My favorite foods are ones that clog your arteries. The heavenly smell of bacon and cheese melting on your hamburger, the beautiful smell of buttery popcorn and then of course, fried food.

The midnight craving of McDonald’s french fries and of course, my personal favorite, the Wendy’s chicken sandwiches.

Then the greatest snack food of all time: chips and dip. Especially, wavy Lays Sour Cream and Onion. I can keep going, too.

It never helps browsing through Pinterest—especially when you are hungry—and seeing, in fact, the greatest creation that was ever made: Pretzel rods baked and wrapped in bacon.

My jaw dropped when I saw this legendary creation. I haven’t made it yet, but that day will come soon.

Again, I told you my favorite foods are the ones that clog your arteries. It’s not good.

But since the beginning of March, I changed my eating habits—and it’s difficult. But it’s important to remain healthy when eating all this greasy, but oh-so good, food.

Here are some exercises and healthy habits to get into if you share my similiar obsession for well, the greasy, delicous, junk food.

First, if you go for that Wendy’s chicken sandwich for lunch, go for a walk for at least a half hour.

You’ll feel better about yourself and less guilty. It’s not much excercise, but at least something is better than nothing.

Then, after having eating the whole bag of Lays wavy chips with dip—I know we all can be guilty of this—grab the weights and tone yourself!

It helps to do a little everyday, for instance, doing 10 repetitions three times for each arm, will tone and improve muscles.

However, I wouldn’t recommend eating a bag of chips daily. You won’t get anywhere if you do that, and it actually might clog your arteries.

Now when the day comes for those pretzel rods baked and wrapped in bacon, make sure this isn’t the only thing you ate that day.

Go for fruit and raw vegetables! Here’s a tip: eating celery has no calories. It actually burns calories when you chew it. It’s even better when you dip it in peanut butter or ranch.

Another great snack food that I love, that for once, is not junk are small peppers stuffed with hummus.

It’s perfect snack for people who are on the go and they are delicious.

Grab a small bag of orange, red and yellow peppers at the grocery store with a container of your favorite hummus and you’re good to go.

Plus, it’s better than eating chips, bacon wrapped preztel rods and a Wendy’s Chicken sandwich.

But like I said, my favorite foods are the ones that clog your arteries and I’m okay with that, which maybe I’ll regret later in life.  Oh, well.
