No matter who you are, you have most likely seen a YouTube video at some point in your life. Whether it’s someone doing the cinnamon challenge, a makeup tutorial or a how-to-fix-your-iPhone video, YouTube never fails to be entertaining. This past year, I’ve become part of the YouTube community by not only making my own videos, but also discovering more and more channels.

Here are a few of my favorite youtubers and channels that you might enjoy!

Tanya Burr is one of the first youtubers I found when searching for channels to subscribe to. She has one channel for beauty and makeup videos and another channel for vlogs and hauls. Tanya has over 600,000 subscribers on her main channel and she’s so bubbly and happy that you can’t stop watching her videos!

The VlogBrothers is a channel created by John and Hank Green; two brothers taking the world by storm with John’s best-selling teen books and Hank’s unforgettable music talents. These brothers have over 1,000 videos and a huge fan following called ‘Nerdfighters.’ On their channel, they talk about pretty much anything from music trends to politics to sports.

If you like Food Network and funny, sarcastic ladies, then I highly suggest you check out Hilah Cooking. In her videos, you get to have a look into her kitchen while she cracks jokes and makes some great looking food. A few of her videos I really enjoyed were her chocolate truffle recipe and her homemade salsa!

Now if none of these sparks your interest, or you just want to watch some really funny videos, type in ‘Daily Grace.’ Grace Helbig is a comedian/actress from L.A., Cali. who isn’t afraid to say anything on the Internet…and I mean anything. She makes videos Monday through Friday making fun of celebrities, giving you life tips, etc.—all whilst being extremely sarcastic.

Shirley B. Eniang is another guru on YouTube with exceptionally good fashion sense. Even though she makes makeup and hair videos, her fashion videos are by far the best. The U.K.-based youtuber films seasonal lookbooks, new trends and how to style different pieces of clothing.

Now boys, if you’re getting bored of all these girly channels, you can go check out Luke’s Arcade! He’s a musician from L.A., Cali., but he has a video game channel that even I like to watch from time to time. He records him and his friends playing Mario Kart, Skyrim, Minecraft, etc. and they’re so entertaining!

If you’re into music, I know a couple of channels that you’ll really enjoy. Corey Gray, Landon Austin, Alex Goot and Jake Coco are some guys on YouTube that all make great covers and record their own songs as well! Some ladies that make their own covers are Madilyn Bailey, Julia Sheer and Jess Moskaluke.

Overall, YouTube is a great place to be. It’s a big community that you never would expect you could become a part of. There’s so much to explore and so many things to learn. Because of YouTube, I’ve learned how to apply liquid eyeliner, fix my Macbook and get a stain out of a carpet. YouTube is filled with so much more than we think it is, so if we do a little exploring, we’ll find something fun and helpful.
