Dear Annie,
I just started dating my new boyfriend, so how long should we wait until we do the dirty deed? I don’t want to mess anything up with moving too fast, but I also don’t want him to think I want to take it slow, since he has been acting that way since the beginning.
We’ve been together for four weeks now and I talked to some of my friends and some of them say they waited a month before having sex while others had it with their significant other before they even started dating. I usually am really cautious about being ready to have sex and I make sure I trust the person before anything happens; however, I guess everyone is different, but how long is too long?
Sincerely,
Ready to go
Dear Ready to go,
Well you got one thing right darling, everyone is different, so it’s hard to say how long to wait before engaging in sexual intercourse with a new boyfriend. But if you want to move on to the the next level in your relationship, talk to your new man and make it known to him that you are ready. Many guys will wait until the girl says something first or for them to initiate the act, so if you say something about doing the dirty deed, he’ll probably jump on that so fast you’ll be doing it all night. It’s good that you are cautious too, not many girls are. But as long as you trust your partner and are fully ready go for it; just remember wrap his monkey before you get spunky!
Sincerely,
Annie
