Quick and easy meals to make on a budget!
TUNA BURGERS
Serves 1-2 people
Equipment:
1 Small Skillet/Frying Pan
1 Mixing Bowl
Ingredients:
1 Can of Tuna
1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs
2 Chives/Green Onions, diced (if desired)
1 Short Stalk Celery, diced (if desired)
Salt/Pepper
Garlic Powder (if desired)
Vegetable or Olive Oil
2 Slices of Bread/Hamburger Bun (if desired)
Directions:
Preheat skillet at medium heat. Combine tuna, bread crumbs, green onions, celery and spices (to taste). Add 2 teaspoons of oil and stir until all of the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, and the mixture sticks together. Form tuna into 1 medium-sized patty or 2 smaller patties. Pour small amount of oil (less than 1 teaspoon) into skillet to prevent sticking, then place patties in pan. Flip when bottom is golden brown (about 3 minutes) and cook other side until golden.
Serve alone or on bread. Enjoy!
