Q: With the new Grubhub order system, how have students and staff adapted to using it?

A: “It’s a new system in practice, and things are getting better.

There are some growing pains, and we are working to improve wait time, staffing schedules and overall efficiency of the ordering process.”

Q: How does the Grubhub ordering system work?

A: “Through Grubhub, students can place food orders through the app instead of waiting in line at the cash register. Students can choose to pay with a card or use their meal plan.

Students say what they ordered to staff at the location they ordered from, and staff grabs the order.”

Q: What was the reason for the new Grubhub system being introduced on campus?

A: “The reason for this new system is to help students avoid longer waiting times and lines for food, which allows them to get their food quicker between class times.”

Q: Do students have an input on these new dining systems being implemented on campus?

A: “Student feedback is also being heard to influence changes to the dining experience.

The Culinary Council, along with groups such as the Resident Hall Associations and Student Government Associations, gives students the opportunity to share concerns and suggestions about campus dining.”

Q: Are there any incentives or programs given to students who use the Grubhub app?

A: “For students who use the system after three meals, students can receive a $5 coupon.

Grubhub plus is also available through a student program that can provide savings on Grubhub orders.”
