On Sunday, April 12, residents from across campus gathered for the university’s annual Hall Olympics, a spirited morning of friendly competition and hall pride.
Students from Brownell Hall, Schwartz Hall and other residence halls met in their lobbies at 9 a.m. before heading out to compete in events that included volleyball, badminton, basketball and additional team‑based challenges.
The event encouraged teamwork, enthusiasm and engagement, giving students a chance to connect outside of their daily routines.
Residents were given colored shirts that represent their halls.
Residents not only participated by playing but also by cheering on their fellow classmates. They also made up chants for their teams.
Brownell secured first place over the other seven halls.
With high energy, supportive crowds and plenty of friendly rivalry, Hall Olympics once again highlighted the strong sense of community that defines residential life at the university.
