Looking for an internship, part-time, seasonal or full-time work in 2021? Join us for a Virtual Career Night hosted by the students of the REC 365 Event Planning and Production class.
Organizations from the Community and Therapeutic Recreation, Tourism, Hospitality, Event Management, and Sports Management will be at the event to provide students with information and answer any questions.
Representatives from CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the towns of Cheshire, Newington, Rocky Hill, Fairfield, The CT Veterans Hospital, The SCSU Office of Career & Professional Development, and more will be in attendance. Updates to the agency list will be provided on the Recreation, Tourism, and Sport Management Instagram page #scsurtsm. Past events have attracted 30+ agencies and over 200 students.
The event is open to all SCSU undergraduate and graduate students. Students from all majors, as well as students who have not yet declared a major, are welcome to attend and learn more about the organizations looking to complete their 2021 staffing needs. This is a great opportunity for all students to meet potential employers.
Career Night will take place fully online using the Airmeet software program Thursday Nov. 12 from 4 p.m. till 6 p.m.
