It’s almost that time– the time where we get to see Lebron James back at home playing for the Cavs, return of not only the Black Mamba, but also Derrick Rose. Are you ready?
The announcement that shocked the NBA world wasn’t like the 2010 decision on national television. It was through Instagram where Lebron posted a picture with him in a Cavs jersey saying, “I’m coming home.”
Some might’ve disagreed with his decision, but Lebron, who turns 30-years-old Dec. 30, isn’t getting any younger. A final stint of his career, in his hometown Akron, who he always wished of bring them their first ever NBA championship, he can now take another crack it beginning Oct. 30 at home against the New York Knicks.
As for the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony went on the record saying simply he’s the most underrated superstar in the league, will have a clean state starting this year where the Knicks pretty much cleaned house this off-season. It’s now up to Phil Jackson to provide Anthony with a real good team and another star who can help Anthony late in the season and also playoffs if they can make it.
When it comes to the Western Conference, the defending champs San Antonio Spurs, haven’t changed much which has been Head Coach Gregg Popovich’s formula to success each season. Kobe Bryant is making his way back after looking in tip-top shape after the Lakers first pre-season win against the Nuggets 98-95. Bryant finished the game with 13 points and five assists.
Who are your favorites in winning it all this year?
