Victoria’s Secret’s runway return

There is something about the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that no other runway can replicate. The extravagant wings, glamorous models, sparkling lingerie and live performances have always made it one of my favorite fashion events. This year’s show reminded me exactly why I love it so much.

The 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show brought back everything I had been waiting to see. From Bella Hadid opening the runway to the return of the original Angels and the iconic Fantasy Bra, the entire presentation felt like a celebration of the brand’s history.

Having Hadid open the show was the perfect choice. Wearing a green ensemble with floral wings, she immediately captured my attention. Her confident walk and effortless presence made the opening unforgettable.

But nothing made me happier than seeing Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel back on the runway.

These women helped define the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and watching them again brought back the nostalgia of its earlier years.

Seeing them walk again proved that their influence has not disappeared, regardless of how much the industry has changed.

Ambrosio’s appearance was particularly special because it marked her 20th runway appearance for the brand. I loved seeing her share the runway with Lima and Swanepoel, reminding viewers why they remain some of fashion’s most recognizable faces.

As much as I loved seeing these angels return, I could not help but miss Romee Strijd and Lais Ribeiro. Both were such memorable parts of the brand’s runway and I would have loved to see them walk alongside the original angels.

Having Lima close the show was another moment I absolutely loved. After watching Hadid open the runway, seeing one of the most iconic angels bring the night to an end felt like the perfect full-circle moment.

Another moment I had been waiting for was the return of the Fantasy Bra.

After eight years without one, Victoria’s Secret finally revived its most extravagant tradition. The last Fantasy Bra appeared in 2018, when angel Elsa Hosk wore the $1 million Dream Angels Fantasy Bra.

This year’s creation, designed with luxury jeweler Jacob & Co., was valued at $50 million and worn by Kylie Jenner. Featuring 4,410 natural diamonds and a 75.54-carat yellow diamond, it was easily one of the night’s most extravagant pieces.

I loved seeing that level of luxury return. The Fantasy Bra was never meant to be ordinary lingerie. Its appeal comes from the extraordinary craftsmanship, sparkling diamonds and anticipation surrounding its reveal.

The PINK section was another one of my favorite parts of the night. I loved the youthful energy and playful outfits that brought a completely different atmosphere to the runway. It was fun and full of personality, offering a refreshing contrast to the glamorous lingerie and elaborate wings of the main show.

The musical performances also added excitement. Tate McRae, Megan Thee Stallion, KATSEYE and Megan Moroney brought different sounds to the runway, making the show feel like a complete entertainment experience.

And of course, I cannot forget the wings. The oversized feathers, floral designs and dramatic accessories transformed the lingerie into elaborate creations.

What I appreciated most was how Victoria’s Secret combined nostalgia with new faces without losing the glamour that made its fashion show iconic.

Between Hadid’s opening, the legendary angels, Lima’s closing walk and the Fantasy Bra’s return, this year’s show gave me everything I wanted.

For me, the magic of the Victoria’s Secret runway was finally back.
