Residents can now check the progression of washers and dryers online by utilizing a new feature: Laundry Tracker.
The new system, free of charge, allows students to view machine availability and how much time remains in cycles without leaving their dorm room. Students can also request to be notified via text or e-mail when a machine becomes available.
The new feature is a result of last summer’s contract with Automatic Laundry, the company also responsible for the new laundry machines on campus. Automatic Laundry, a Massachusetts company, also has contracts with UMass Lowell and UMass Amherst.To access Laundry Tracker, students can go to www.laundrytracker.com and log in with the password “scsu.” From there, students can select their building and see the availability of all machines.
The website allows students to fill out service request forms as well.
