The March 28 issue of the Southern News made the assertion that JWH-018 was present in K2 and other forms of synthetic marijuana. This is not true as JWH-018 was deemed a schedule 1 and banned substance by the DEA last year. Other similar substances are used in its stead to a similar affect. The article also indicated that salvia is a synthetic drug. It is, in fact, a plant also known as Diviner’s Sage.LEP Special Section
